This is the history of what has become, arguably, one of the best-known intersections in Vancouver. Granville and Robson both have rich histories that incorporate elements of transportation and commercialization, making the corner a veritable epicentre of Vancouver’s downtown urban life.

A photo from an area in downtown Vancouver (1) was used to prompt research relating to particular issues of interest (2). Synthesis of the research (3) provided an understanding of the underlying city infrastructure, while the investigation was furthered through addition of another layer of analysis (4). Finally, a collage (5) was constructed – graphically summarizing the issues of the previous panels.
