Urban Transitions & Convergences: Installation at Denman+Robson

Using the two-block-radius area around the intersection of Denman and Robson in Vancouver as a playing field, groups were to propose an intervention that would reveal a particular localized (spatial) condition.

This empty site – the remains of a fire that destroyed the last remaining independent newspaper/magazine store on Robson Street – played host to our intervention that posed the question:

What if we simply let this site grow back to its natural state for the next 1000 years?
