QwikPik: ActionScript 3/Flash Image Gallery

This website currently uses a very basic image gallery written in ActionScript 3 for Adobe Flash.

The gallery reads in a well-formatted XML file and displays the images with previous/next buttons and mini-buttons representing each image.

This preliminary ‘version 0.5 beta’ is free to use and distribute as long as attribution remains intact. A more feature-complete ‘version 1’ will include options for autoscaling and image information rollovers.

There are a few options in the file QwikPik to change the gallery size and such.

Features:

• dynamically loads images via XML (no need to recompile SWF to add/remove/change images)
• Flash font embedding and CSS styling
